An extensive array of lenses is available for manual focus and auto focus 35 mm SLR cameras. If you can’t get yourself to pick between a 28mm and a 50mm lens then forget them both! Get yourself a Minolta 35mm Camera Lens. This is a good choice because there isn’t anything a 50mm lens can do that it can’t! For example, a 35mm f/2 lens is lightweight and compatible with many cameras. It can promise heart stopping results with minimum hassle. To produce digital standard or gallery size prints a Minolta 35m camera lens is your best bet. Minolta 35mm lenses were introduced in different series initially called the MC and MD series. All of these lenses had different features but could all be used on the SR mount. Minolta termed its lenses “Rokkor”. This interesting name was chosen by Minoltas founder and it takes after the Japanese Mount Rokko situated next to Minolta’s Japanese factory. MC Rokkor-PG f/1.2 was the first meter coupled 35mm Camera Lens. It was so good that within 4 years of its introduction it had completely replaced the earlier pre-MC lenses. The earlier version of these lenses was slightly compromised on quality by adding radioactive ingredients included in the production of the glass material. As these ingredients decay, the glass is discolored, giving images taken with these lenses a warm glow. When the production of these lenses started in the MD series, Minolta completely redesigned its previous versions of lenses. The result was spectacular! A new filter thread size of 49mm was created. This also led to a reduction in costs and saved weight. The reconstruction included all of the 50mm lenses, the 28mm f/3.5 and f/2.8, the 35mm f/1.8 and f/2.8, the 100mm f/2.5 and the 135mm f/3.5.During this time, the company discontinued their legendary 58mm f/1.2 in favor of the new 50mm f/1.2 which never really caught on. Minolta 35mm camera lens is available in many shapes and sizes. Your choice should just boil down
to your preferences. Many photographers prefer the earlier versions because those lenses were build solid, before the
cost cutting plastics were incorporated in the design. Others prefer the newest version of the Minolta 35mm camera lens
because of its lighter weight. Whatever you choose, rest assured that with Minolta you will be getting the best!
